When I was living in Buffalo,NY I substitute taught several different subjects for over two years. I knew I wanted to teach five minutes into my first teaching job. In 2010, I graduated SUNY Old Westbury College earning certification in Special Education (1-6) and Childhood Education (1-6). As one of the older matriculating students in the class and a mother of two girls, I have seen how different methods of teaching worked with different children.
