I know the different learning styles of visual, auditory and kinestetic are important to identify with the student to help them achive thier ultimate learning experience. I teach through discovery (trial/error), tactile (hands-on), play, & also providing a positive approach/praise to learning. I believe all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings & learning experiences. Since graduating from Missouri State in the fall of 2009 with my Bachelor's Degree in Spanish education I have been substituting with Sparta schools and Republic schools. I have also been tutoring a student in Spanish. I completed my student teaching in the fall of 2009 with Ozark High School and Springfield Catholic School. Before then I spent several years working with kids at book festivals and in Mexico through Second Baptist Church. I also tutored special needs children at Ozark North Elementary during my high school years.
