My experience dates back to when I was in high school in the early 80's tutoring students and family members. I've also taught classes on Management of Aggressive Behavior / Appled Non-Violence to mental health professionals throughout the Las Vegas Valley and surrounding communities. My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : My Abilities & Experiences concerning Reading Comprehension is nearly identical to those of Reading in general: My passions for literature and writing obviously go hand in hand with reading. Reading Comprehension is one of my top subjects! When working with my reading students, I purchase materials that have single paragraphs with questions at the end to test reading comprehension. I encourage them to look back and reread the various passages that might have the answer.
