My personal teaching philosophy is that there is no teaching without learning. Most classroom studies are at least partly removed from their intended application, for reasons of assuring comprehensive competency and because of the educational structure, i.e. attending school comes in advance of and separately from applying one’s knowledge. Having studied language from an early age, I discovered I had an inherent ability to process foreign tongues. I have earned a Bachelor of Arts in French and French Linguistics and have studied it for over seventeen years.
