My comments on tutoring Journalism : I am NYS certified in Literacy (grades 5-12) and English (grades 7-12), although I have several years of experience with children as young as Kindergarten.

I went through a rigorous program in English Composition where I received my MA. Prior to that, I had several years of teaching experience as both a high school/middle school English and Social Studies. Later I taught 4 years of College English. Then I spent a couple of more years teaching high school English, in addition to spending one year tutoring students in SAT/Regents instruction.
