I have enjoyed the personal gratification of tutoring since high school. Since I was 15 years old, I have shared my knowledge and love of mathematics with people of all ages. My comments on tutoring SAT - Math : I specialize in math and science preparation. The first thing I do is find out the strong/weak areas of the student and focus on the areas that need the most improvement. I also use sample tests and test questions.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from MSU in 2001 with a degree in Int'l Relations and Business. In 2007 I returned to school. During that time I took all the pre-reqs for the Accelerated Nursing program, earning a 4.0 in each. The classes included psych, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, bio and chem. I have been tutoring professionally for about 2 years now, but before that I worked with a lot of my friends and family. I struggled with ADD/ADHD while in school, and had to teach myself the skills to become a good student. A Little Bit About Me...

I was a teaching assistant during my graduate school, from 1975 to 1980. I was assisting in College level Mathematics courses, including Algebra, Calculus, CAE applications. The only other experience I had was in assisting my kids during their high school studies and did not do a bad job. One of them is a Hardare Test and Validation Engineer at Intel, Portland, Oregon and the other one is doing Medicine at U. Of M.
Tutoring a student who is not doing too good in his subject is not a one or two class job. I will plan the need depending on the versatility, devotion and perseverence to learn.
