I have been a teaching assistant for six semesters at University of Hawaii at Manoa where I earned my Ph.D. in Molecular Biosciences and Bioengineering, and have taught a variety of writing intensive biology and microbiology labs. I’ve also had extensive tutoring experience since I was an undergraduate in biochemistry and have learned how to communicate effectively with students that are having a tough time with math.
