In many situations, the main reason that students struggle in learning and grasping certain academic subjects is due to the fact that students suffer a major disconnect with the course textbook on the subject. I obtained my BS in Business Management from Clemson University in August of 2009. During my time there I was a member of the Varsity Swimming team where I competed against world class athletes within the Atlantic Coast Conference. Balancing life as a student-athlete created a unique and challenging college experience for me. As well as athletic experience, I served as an Assistant to the Director of Community Relations at IPTAY Collegiate Club for 2 years. I prefer to teach by utilizing real-life situations that are pertinent to the subject matter.
