If you don't like the results, I haven't done my job.

All I do is tend to my students needs. I'm personal. Like to get off track with my students and lead them back to the point.
I won the state championship in the 100 meters and went to Adams State College in Alamosa CO. Broke a leg in track and received withdrawn F across the board. Left college and healed up. Went to the Army two years and reserve three years. Came back and picked up the quickest degree possiable. Moved to Hawwaii, three years. Became a ciritified dept of defense government contractor. Furnish and deliver contracts. Ended up moving back home to Albuquerque NM. I started working in the Indian Casinos for 13 years. I bought a house and retired. But now I'm tired of sitting around.

Bio Chemistry is one of my top subjects! I am a biochemistry major. I have taken biochemistry and received a recommendation from my professor for me to tutor.

I employ a variety of techniques in teaching, including visual representations of abstract concepts, interactive tailored example problems created for each individual student, and interactive exercises to practice concepts.
I have taken several lower division and upper division courses in each of the subjects I tutor. I have done substantial biochemistry research at the University of Redlands. Math and Chem Tutor (MaCT)

I would like to explain a global picture of a class material, what to expect from learning the class. All of this is not to scare students, but to mentally prepare them with the challenge ahead. Learning can be fun!!

When tutoring, I strive to make lessons engaging, effective and enjoyable. Specifically, I tailor lessons according to an individual student's needs and involve students in a dialogue by asking questions that provoke thought, conversation, and perhaps humor. Because facts and figures are easily looked up in the information age, I place particular emphasis on thinking and on "learning how to learn".
