A Little Bit About Me...

I know how and I love working with children. So far they all reciprocate positively. I believe I should use my education and experience along with my desire to transfer my knowledge to children who want and need to develop a solid, stable background in basic math, statistics and engineering.
While putting my now seventh grader son through school, I have learned I have natural ability, desire and passion to teach, especially math, logic, statistics. I easily apply cases to the real world cases for easier understanding. I also discovered I have a simple driven mind for logic. I love the written word and reaching people, so I ultimately chose to major in journalism. My love for teaching and instructing students led me to pursue my minor in education. In the past three years, I've tutored undergraduates in writing (grammar, composition, etc), graduate students (editing theses), proofing resumes and technical documents, and tutoring elementary and high school students in reading and basic math.
