In May of 2010, I successfully completed my fourth year of teaching. Each year has been different. The children of today learn in many different ways. I started working in the school system in 2001 volunteering as a tutor for at risk kids. I tutored numerous mathematic course for over 6 years. I have earned a one bachelor degree in biology and hope to earn my second degree in mathematics as well as in education. I have learned to do research and solve proofs. At present, I have been teaching basic reading, writing, and math in both private and public school sectors throughout the State of Tennessee since the Fall of 2006. My first formal experience was as an undergraduate Reading and Development coach for recent high school graduates entering junior college.
