I am a college graduate that has spent the past 8 years working in health and science education and development. Following my graduation from USM, I had many experiences teaching a variety of children from many cultures. Having taught in a DODDS school in Karlsruhe, Germany I was exposed to the German way of teaching. My first year of teaching was in an inner city school thar offered many challengs. I believe my experience teaching children from diverse backgrounds prepared me to handle any situation in the teaching environment.

As a Tougaloo graduate, I have had plenty hands on experiences with children. I've tutored children mostly all my life. I also did practicium and observation with children. I have my degree in Early Childhood Development but most of all I've been a substitute working with middle school children.
