As a graduate, I've been very blessed to have received a degree in Business Communication. In college I learned how to become a better educator, and communicate with them on the highest level. Although, I tutor in all of the academic areas, I also enjoy helping my student appreciate the art of becoming a good writer, and thinkers. I am passionate about inspiring students to enjoy reading and writing. It is my goal to find a balance between what they are interested in (ie: their career goals)and what they will be interested in (ie: other cultures). I believe they deserve to be exposed to new things, as well as to express their own interests.
After obtaining my teaching credential in English, I taught high school English for three years (grades 9 & 10) and drama for one. Then I taught special ed English for two years. I also taught one year of Language Arts (grade 8). I established a peer tutoring and stud habits program at Branham High School for ninth graders who were struggling to pass their classes. At A Place for Teens center in Los Gatos, I ran a peer tutoring program for students who had no other place to do their homework.

As a graduate, I was very much driven to achieve a level of excellence in education. I have earned two bachelor degrees, Bachelor in Computer Science and Bachelor in teaching of Mathematics-Science, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math, science and computers. A Little Bit About Me...

My love for English Literature has allowed me to flourish in English class starting in elementary school. As a freshman in high school I was elected to be a peer tutor. I held the volunteer job for all four years of my high school career, specializing in assisting with understanding/editing grammar, the art of creating an A+ essay, and analyzing literature. Through my college courses I have gained extensive skills in many areas of study including math, computer skills, and the best way to study for a test!
