I believe that for languages, immersion is the best, if most impractical, way of teaching. Therefore, it is my goal to speak as much in the target language as possible in order to increase exposure to the language. I also believe that repetition is key, but through interactive games and everyday tasks, the rote memorization disappears within the layers of common use. Writing Skills is one of my top subjects! I love teaching young children to write. I have a lot of experience and I have seen amazing outcomes. I teach how to write (how to form the letters) as well as how to write a cohesive paper. I love teaching narrative, informational, and persuasive (opinion) writing. I would say my teaching style is more relaxed. I believe this helps one see students weaknesses and strengths better. It also allows one to compare the overall effect of teaching for each student. When I see a student falling behind then thats when I take action and try top get them where they should be in that area.
