A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout college I was a tutor with a Learning Center. I worked with children in grades K-12. At this center, we helped build reading and math skills individually and in groups. I was also a private tutor for a high school student. Together we improved her study skills and organization. I assisted her with writing assignments, projects, and daily homework. I also worked in the Camden County school system as a substitute teacher and secretary. At Mercer University, I earned my BA in Communications and Theater Arts, and an English minor. I also hold certifications through GACE (Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators) in Early Childhood Education and Middle Grades Language Arts.
