My teaching style is predicated on the belief that children truly want to learn. I like to introduce the goal or goals for today. Ask a few questions regarding ysterdays assignment and see if the class will bridg the two by itself. I believe that a class os students wiling to learn need only slight direction each day. I always have a full lesson plan in tow, but i find the class rarely needs me to rely on it. The students' hunger for knowledge always seems to be motivation enough to keep them moving forward through the blackboard jungle.

For the past eight years I have run a small business from my home and have been a substitute teacher, grades K-12 in Duval Co. since 2003. I have enjoyed teaching and have often taught ESE students and totally mentally disabled students. These children are often the most rewarding to teach due to their higher need and receptiveness.
