A Little Bit About Me...

Tutored 2-3 days a week for many elementary school students when I was in high school. Subjects included introductory Spanish, Grammar, Writing, Composition, Writing, Typing skills and techniques, Study skills, and reading. Three years of experience in summer tutoring, helping students prepare for next grade level through workbooks, hands-on activities, and refreshing activities to recall main concepts and skills taught the previous year of school.

Study Skills is one of my top subjects! I am a determined problem solver. I have an outstanding ability to find a way for the student to learn the material in a way that interests him or her and is much easier to understand. It's almost as if I am translating a foreign language.
