Recent Clemson graduate and experienced tutor!

I have experience with leading groups of students and one-on-one tutoring. I like to use examples, practice problems, and practical applications in teaching. I also encourage students to do as much work as possible on their own so that they develop their abilities and feel capable.
I am recent graduate with a degree in French and a minor in biological sciences from Clemson University. I am a very avid learner and have earned two degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill: a BA in psychology and a JD. I taught science classes to children ages 4 - 12 during my law school career. I tutored elementary school students in basic math, grammar and science during my last two years of undergraduate work. A Little Bit About Me...

As a recent graduate from Clemson University's Calhoun Honors College, I deeply believe in the importance of education. I graduated high school with a high GPA and a 1420/1600 SAT score, I was granted the Palmetto Fellows Scholarship to attend college, where I graduated in three and a half years with honors. As a Management major, I was one of the best writers in my classes. I feel that my education has adequately prepared me to tutor students in English, sociology, philosophy, and mathematics. For the past two and a half years, I have served as a volunteer Young Life leader at Wren High School. Mentoring high school students, I have learned how to communicate with them.
