I have 12 years tutoring experience at the college level. I also have 20 years of teaching experience in various settings, including college, private christian school, a high school and an alternative educational environment geared towards at-risk students. In addition to teaching in a classroom setting, I have coordinated a GED program to help adults achieve high school equivalence.
Throughout my career I have concentrated on working with diverse learners, adapting curriculum to meet learners needs, using presentation styles that incorporate students' multiple intelligences.

A Little Bit About Me...

I will share many experiences and examples in order to help studnets understand the text. I have much more patience than most younger teachers and have ways to help getthe text ideas over to the students. I love to teach reading and I use experiences and examples to help explain texts.
I have had wonderful experiences teaching many interns and residents in medical schools hospitals in the US> I have reintroduced older medications that have been used in the past and are very cost effective but have been forgotten. I have volunteered at a local elementary school and shared experiences to help the young people understand the text and information given.
