I substituted after graduation and realized I loved teaching. In college I was asked to tutor for my instructors. My classmates came over to my house to study. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ole Miss in 99'. I taught 2nd and 5th grade before going to Falkner to teach Special Ed. in grades 9-12. I helped prepare students for state tests. I co-taught in Eng. and Alg. I also taught MS Studies, W.Geog., U.S. History, Drama, Eng. II, U.S. History, Journalism, Tutorial and ACT prep also. I have experience in math and science as well. I have tutored many students from many walks of life and enjoy the confidence they gain when they improve their grades. After my first two years of lackluster studying at the University of Mississippi, I had gained bad study habits that needed to be reformed. I attended tutoring sessions regularly at the University of Memphis and my grades consequently improved. I enjoyed the boosted level of confidence I gained as I realized the material I was studying was not impossible, and I strive to teach other students the same principle.
