My comments on tutoring Statistics : Most versed in business statitics, some experience in scientific statistics (yes, there is a difference, mostly in nomenclature). Proficient in minitab and spss

I am an 15 year IT professional, the last 3 with the University of Iowa. I also have 6 years of chemical/biologincal operations and technical writing experience with Abbott Laboratories and SC Johnson Wax. My teaching style is to first evaluate the extent of the student's knowledge in the specific subject area and then start from the beginning and brush up, filling the gaps in knowledge. As an undergraduate student in India, I used to help my younger brother and cousins with school. Especially being in engineering my Math, Chemistry and Physics backgrounds are very strong. I have never tutored for money but I used to tutor a lot for free.
