I like to create a meeting day before the tutoring begins. That meeting day consist of me seeing where the student I am tutoring is at. After seeing the subject that student is struggling with, I create weekly packets for the days I do tutor the student. That packet will be practice for the student to do infant of me as an "exam". Weekly packets will be given all the time until that student masters the concept.

My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I have a Bachelor's degree (with highest honors)from Florida International University and I did all of my graduate work (with distinction) at the Univ. of Miami. One of my specialties is creative writing. I teach children, teenagers, and college students (and beyond) how to write interestingly, effectively and quickly. In addition to being a very patient instructor, I am a professional writer (Published by Warner Brothers and Rowman and Littlefield) and teacher of writing so I know I can really help you learn how to make words dance, sing and jump off the page, if necessary.
