My students enjoy coming to lessons with Ms. Sharon. I make them feel comfortable, and always encourage them to ask me questions. I like to create a meeting day before the tutoring begins. That meeting day consist of me seeing where the student I am tutoring is at. After seeing the subject that student is struggling with, I create weekly packets for the days I do tutor the student. That packet will be practice for the student to do infant of me as an "exam". Weekly packets will be given all the time until that student masters the concept.

Our tutors are trained to be able to relate problems to the real world, making them concrete and simple. For example, a question may ask what is 7 times 25? This problem is abstract and challenging to some people. Thus, I rephrase it to, "If you have 7 quarters in your pocket, how much money do you have?" By making the problem more relatable to the student, the problem suddenly appears easier and less intimidating. Our tutors go through training on how to assess each student's individual learning style, and know how to adapt to each student. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : Creative writing relies on the same skills as any basic composition, except that you use your imagination to develop your idea or premise! Simple!

I currently teach Scriptwriting at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. I have also taught Business Communication and Media Concept Development. My experience includes numerous reports, articles and a textbook. In every class that I teach, students write complete Production Packets, and do essay assignments so that everyone learns proper composition style. I have a great deal of experience in guiding students in producing excellent written documents!
My teaching style is friendly and helpful. I do require that all my students pay close attention to proper spelling and grammar, and I use only constructive criticism.
