Growing up, I was always very gited academically. I never struggled with school, and learning was an easy pleasure. I graduated as valedictorian, and when I got to college I started tutoring to help others that had more difficulty in class. I didn't begin tutoring as a job until about two years ago, and since then have tutored in subjects including reading, math, and chemistry. While I am capable of teaching most subjects, science and especially math have always been my specialties.

Education has played an important role in my life and success since my elementary school years, and I feel its value is immeasurable. In 2007, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, with a minor in chemistry. Currently, I am a nursing student, as my ultimate goal is to be a pediatric nurse practitioner. I developed a love for language, writing and learning as a high school student, so majoring in English was the natural choice for me. I graduated high schoool with honors and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Millsaps College, a small liberal arts college, well-known for its academic excellence in MS and across the nation.
