SAT - Math is one of my top subjects!

I spend much of time making the student understand that it is okay to feel behind in a subject and that the student should believe in himself. This belief is built on continued practice on fundamentals that I watch them go through but only ask questions when I see them going astray. Everyone needs to learn the material for his or herself. My place is to make sure they learn the right methods to solve the problem and ensure that they know those methods beyond the tutoring session.
I have been tutoring professional for six years and teaching for five. I am certified by the state of Tennessee to teach secondary math. I have worked with all levels of students, from remedial to gifted. I have worked from age 7 through adult learners and had a positive impact at each age and level.

As an undergraduate student, I was able to expose myself to many subjects. In the past, I have taken advanced courses in math, science, English, and history. I am currently completing my Doctorate of Audiology. As apart of this curriculum, my studies emphasize physical science, anatomy, and statistics.
I recognize that everyone learns differently. My teaching style is flexible, yet productive. I believe that it is important to find ways to make the subject interesting and tangible. A Little Bit About Me...

Any opportunity to help someone else is one I enjoy participating in. As I mentioned, I am going into nursing and wish to work in pediatrics.
