A Little Bit About Me...

Based on my past teaching experiences, I have learned that in order to motivate students to learn, it’s imperative to make connections between the curriculum and their prior experiences and interests. I believe that it is unrealistic to expect students to learn at the same rate and have identical learning styles, so teachers must differentiate their instruction to account for all types of learning abilities, levels, interests, and talents. For instance, teachers should be able and willing to plan lessons and/or assessments that allow students to utilize their own individual and unique intelligences, such as perhaps music or art.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am presently teaching at the College level in the fields of Humanities and Philosophy. I am also tutoring at the tutoring center in Mathematics and the classes I am teaching. I have high expectation for my students and try to push them in order to get the best out of them. I have also being tutoring French (my native language) to a high school student for 2007- 2009. A Little Bit About Me...

I was employed with Orion's Mind LLC as a tutor for the SES prep classes. I taught six grade pupils. I used a pod system to instruct the students on the required subject matter. I tutored in math, science and reading. I completed the Orion's Mind internal training sessions for instructor and lead instructor. I completed my background test and required pre-employment criteria.
I enjoyed seeing the children learn and show pride in their accomplishments. I loved helping these children grow and improve their test scores. Many of children showed marked improvement in their work. I found different strategies of teaching worked best with different children. I tried to teach to each child in a way that was best for them.
