I have had opportunities to teach in many different settings -ranging from college labs and middle school classrooms to special education and health care settings. Through these experiences it became clear to me that not all people learn in the same way. This said, I believe that there are some general approaches to which all respond well. These include: patience, understanding, organization, and clarity. Nothing is more fulfilling to me than taking a concept that is difficult and foreign and presenting it in a way that people can understand.
