I have substitute taught for over 16 years and this past year I worked with the SES program tutoring. My areas of focus are sciences and maths but I have had to tutor reading. This year I tutored middle school students but I have tutored elementary as well. I tend to focus on the high level maths and sciences often taking long term positions in high school. I started substitute teaching when I was in undergraduate school just as a source of income and because I like teaching. My mother is a retired teacher who taught for over 30 years. I work as an engineer but I always find time to tutor. I have tutored with an SES program and have found that this worked really well. I graduated from Georgia Tech in 2007 with a degree in Aerospace Engineering within a span of 3 years. I spent the next year earning a Master of Science in Medical Physics degree from the same institution and I am currently a medical student at the Medical College of Georgia.
