I am a graduate from the University of North Texas with a BFA in drawing and Painting. I have used the art experince to teach preschoolers self expression through creating. I took 4 years of ASl in college and found the experinces exciting, inspiring me to want to teach ASL on the HS level.For the past 5 years I have been teaching ASL at a KatyISD.

A Little Bit About Me...

While going to college for my education degree, I taught preschool for 5 and 1/2 years before my semester of student teaching in Kindergarten before graduation. A few months after receiving my BA and Teaching Certificate, I began teaching preschool again and have substituted middle school some as well. I have also held a Child Development Associate while teaching preschool.
I truly enjoy teaching children. Each child is different and learn in different ways, so I use the teaching types to make sure each child is learning the best way they can. I believe children learn the most through hands-on activities and through play. That way the student can discover many ways to learn and understand fundamentals of their teachings.

I believe that every child has the potential to became very succesful, whether they catch on quick or take some time to learn. I have a knack for working with children who require a one to one learning style. I teach to the level that they are ale to acquire the information and build from there.
