A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy working with students of all ages and backgrounds. My teaching style is dynamic and I strive to adjust my methods based on the needs and personality of each of my students. I am patient, have an excellent sense of humor, and enjoy building a relationship with both students and their families.
My credentials include a degree in International Affairs and French from the University of Puget Sound and five years of teaching experience encompassing ESL instruction with students in Kenya, volunteer work, and paid positions as a dance instructor and French tutor and program leader for high school students. In 2009, I worked for nine months as a French tutor for Club Z in Tacoma, Washington. I left the job to volunteer in Kenya, where I received a basic ESL certification and logged over 150 classroom hours.
