A Little Bit About Me...

I obtained a strong liberal arts education where I was able to experience and learn about a wide range of academic topics. However, I have a strong focus and specialization in the sciences with a BA in both Biology and Chemistry with a Mathematics minor. Math and science has been a strong area of mine, as I was a Supplemental Instructor for a genetics course for two semesters, as well as being a Laboratory Assistant that assisted students with questions or problems during genetics laboratory. I like to teach students from high school level to graduate level. Each student has a different level of understanding and interest for a given subject. Having grown up the daughter of a teacher, I have seen firsthand the ability of a teacher to shape a student's motivation and desire to learn.
