A Little Bit About Me...

I have eleven years of experience in educating children in kindergarten to twelfth grade students with special needs who are diagnosed with a number of physical, mental and emotional disabilities. I also am responsible for keeping records on students' progress, dealing with problem behaviors and serving as a source of information and support in the regular classroom. I also serve as a co-teacher in a regular classrom with a general education teacher working with the teachers. I also provide tutoring for students.

Education is a tool one can use for a lifetime.

I am a teacher who believes that each student learns differently. I am known to mix traditional teaching with responsive classroom teaching. The responsive classroom is one where there is more engagement and is more student focused rather than teacher focused.
