I tutored as a. contact tutor for Club Z of Memphis Tutoring. I did home tutoring for student in the Memphis school system ages ranging fro. 6-17 years of age. I tutored in the subjects of math, English and reading. I interacted with the teachers to see what extra help was needed for the students. At the end of the session I would talk to the parent informing them of the results from the session.

I love working with children. I have 3 of my own and I am currently studying for a Master of Science in Higher Education so that I can teach. I would love to teach college courses, but my main focus is teaching elementary students. I think it would be easier for me to tutor younger kids versus high shcool children. Even though that's where my experience is at, I just love working with smaller kids. I've volunteered at preschools and kindergarten classes and I absolutely love to work with them.
I worked as a tutor coordinator for the YMCA tutoring children from the ages of 12-16. I helped them in basic studies to ensure that they had a grade of a C or better. I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and also pursuing a Master's in accounting and finance. In addition I have been in the Memphis City Schools system substitute teaching for 9 years and I taught Special Education Resource for 1 year.
