I am a very avid learner and have earned two degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill: a BA in psychology and a JD. I taught science classes to children ages 4 - 12 during my law school career. I tutored elementary school students in basic math, grammar and science during my last two years of undergraduate work. During my first two years of undergraduate studies, I tutored college students in math and English I have tutored children of all ages, and adapt my teaching style to the student's needs. Patience and perseverance are my core characteristics, and those are the two qualities that I try to instill in all of my students.

Since I earned my K-6 teaching license, I have worked with children in several different instructional/mentor/tutoring positions. I worked as a teaching assistant in Fifth Grade and First Grade.
