I have extensive teaching experience, not only in the classroom, but I have been a theatre director for twenty years, as well as a soccer coach. As a graduate student at the University of Idaho, I taught three years of various theatre classes. I spent the 2008-09 school year replacing the head of the theatre department at Centralia College in Centralia, WA. I have also taught at North Idaho College in Coeur d'Alene, ID, and spent a year as a substitute teacher in the Coeur d'Alene School District #271. I received a BA in General Business from WSU, and was honored as a Cum Laude graduate. The courses were varied and included a wide array of math application, from supply and demand curves to interest rate calculations. My classmates gave me the nickname "Webster" because I was frequently asked to edit their papers and to tutor them in several different subjects. I love working with teenagers, and watching their faces change when they really GET a concept for the first time! I believe students will rise to the level of expectations set for them. Every subject is interesting to a child who can understand it and apply it.
