As a graduate student working towards earning my Master's in Education, I presently observe and do field research studies with students at the elementary age. Linda Albert's model of "Cooperative Discipline" first began to intrigue me when I was introduced to her model in on of my Education courses. I agree whole-heartedly in her approach, which is based around the idea that helping students feel capable and connected will encourage them to contribute to their class and be successful.
