I am a very hands on and visual teacher that believes the best way to learn is by seeing and doing things yourself. In order to provide the best teaching expereince I would teach through multiple examples and putting difficult subject matter into a context the student can understand and visualize. The thing I love most about teaching is opening up someones eyes to something new and seeing the "wow" look on their faces. Sometimes certain subject matter is not always easy for a person to learn. I've always appreciated the teacher that went out of their way with a great amount of patience to make sure I understood. I love working with children of all ages. I really like elementary age children. I have a hands-on approach to education. I want kids to get their hands into activities so that they may retain things longer. Now I do realize that not every student is hands-on.
