A Little Bit About Me...

My early teaching and learning style was to do as many problems that were thrown at me in class or the text. I learned quickly that you need to understand the problem in order to solve problems that aren't set up for you. I have earned a BS and an MS in Aerospace Engineering. My most recent coursework was focused on Aerospace Propulsion systems- work which relies heavily on my background in Math, Physics, and Chemistry. I have always been a teacher at heart. It was often to the detriment of my own homework completion rate, as I would be much more interested in both solving the problems and helping my classmates understand how it worked that I was concerned with getting the solution written down for myself.

I started tutoring people because it seemed like a great way to meet different people, but I continued because I like helping people learn and discover new things.
