Growing up with more than five teachers in my family, I have always had a deep understanding of the importance of education and a drive to teach others. I recieved my Bachelor's in English from the University of Southern Indiana with the intention of completing a Masters and becomming an instructor at the college level. However, upon completion of my Bachelors, I immediately began teaching at Nashville State Community College as an adjunct english instructor. I then made a transition to tutoring grades K-12 for the No Child Left Behind Program. I have enjoyed working in this capacity for the program ever since I started tutoring five years ago.

I have had experience as a teacher for 2 years. My employer was Metro Nashville public school and they certified me to teach mathematics to grades 9th through 12th. As a teacher I taught geometry at Mcgavock Comprehensive High School and algebra and geometry at Whitescreek High School.
I enjoy finding out a student’s area of difficulty and address it directly. Students have different learning styles, it easy for me teach in a variety of styles so that to make sure my students understands.
