My comments on tutoring ASVAB : I'm proficient in tutoring/preparing students for the math, reading, writing, and vocabulary portions of the ASVAB exam (see more under my "test preparation" heading)! My most recent ASVAB student took his exam in Columbus a couple weeks ago and scored a 66 (prior to seeking my assistance, he'd scored a 24 and 18).

be (Ohio Graduation Test) administered beginning the week of June 16th in the state of Ohio! Please contact me if you have one or more subjects to pass, especially if you earned all of your high school credits, but this test is keeping you from receiving YOUR diploma!! I love teaching and interacting with today's young kids. They fascinate me. Every child has different learning systems and sometimes it takes several tries to reach that special spot that opens the child's eyes to what excites them about learning. The thrill that I feel when that point is found and theirs, (And my, excitement,)grows. There is no feeling in the world like that!
When I substitute for a teacher, I want to see a lesson plan. I do not want to be the classroom babysitter. If there is no plan for the day I involve the students in making one. I'm currently working on obtaining my teaching certificate, to go along with my bachelors degree in Social Science. Hopefully, I will be able to go on to receive my Masters in Education. I have been able to tutor students in reading, sentence structure, English and American history.
