A total learning experience

I believe every student can learn, and as a result incorporate a variety of learning techniques to address a variety of learning styles. I wish to develop students in the four language proficiencies (reading, writing, listening, speaking), and as a result I use a lot of hands-on activities which involve movement and engagement on the student's part. Creating Confident Students via Creative Learning

I like to use hands on and/or creative teaching methods when possible. I believe that practice and persistence makes perfect. I would say that my teaching style is "outside of the box". Throughout high school and college I helped numerous classmates develop efficient ways of studying as well as providing assistance to learning and understanding the given material. During high school I mainly tutored my neighbor's young children in elementary subjects. In college I helped fellow classmates in my major and minor. The most challenging tutoring experience I had was when my own brother was diagnosed with schizophrenia and he was taken out of school for months at a time.
