I also have a spouse that is deaf and has taught me alot as well so I have hands on experience as well. I've been doing private tutoring for about a year but have been training drafters at work for a couple of years now. I got started drafting for a Civil/ Construction company that specialized in tilt-up construction. I then moved on to an MEP firm that specialized in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sprinkler and telecom. I've done some Audio/visual drafting as well but for the past 2.5 years have worked for a fire alarm company. I never thought I'd be a tutor but I ended up being the guy who trains new drafters at worked and it turns out that I liked it. I moved on to doing home tutoring from there and I enjoy doing it.
