I love to teach and see the ideas light up the eyes of the person who suddenly got a concept. I think teaching should be adaptable and should fit the learning style of the student. Visual tasks, memory games, and hands-on-learning are, in my opinion, the best way to help someone truly learn (versus rote memory). I think that with the right guidance and put in the right environment, anyone can learn. I look forward to being that "right guidance."
I attended several schools to achieve my undergraduate degrees, both of which I worked hard to excel at the University level. Attending graduate school at Binghamton University truly prepared me for academia, requiring many research papers and essays as well as honing my knowledge in psychology, the arts, human development, english, and biology. A Little Bit About Me...

Children are a joy to work with and any opportunity I have to impact a child's life through the world of education is a privilege. I am a recent graduate of a bachelor's degree program in both Special and Elementary Education. I have done student teaching in both areas and enjoy working one on one with students immensely. I have worked in a camp setting as a counselor, I have tutored elementary students in reading and phonics, as well as worked one on one with special needs students. Math is my strong subject and I enjoy teaching that along with reading and phonics. I also specialized in English and have gained a strong understanding of grammatical struture and usage in writing.
