A Little Bit About Me...

Through my teaching style I emphasize hands-on learning by using manipulatives. I also use modeling and repetition. I believe the best way to learn something is to practice doing it yourself over and over again using various methods. Practice makes permanent! My comments on tutoring Elementary Phonics : Experience in teaching Kindergarten and First grades grammar.

Each child has different learning abilities. Hands on is the best type of teaching.
I got my B.S. degree in Elementary Education in 2004. I am very eager to help children learn. Children are like sponges, they soak up a wealth of information at such a young age. My experience consists of working as a long term sub for third and fourth grades in Fredericktown, Missouri. I have also substituted in the Pasadena ISD, Channelview ISD, and Sheldon ISD.
