I have a bachelor degree of Journalism from the University of Dakar Senegal.I was a journalist at the national Radio-TV of Senagl for 15 years, before coming to New-york; where I was for three years; diplomat at the UN where: I was in charge of the communication Strategies of the Mission of Senegal to the UNITED-NATIONS. First teaching job was in a school for severely autistic children. After being there for a year I taught in a residential home for boys. This was challenging but probably one of my favorite jobs as a teacher. Because of the distance from home to work (about 1-1/2 hrs.), I applied at an urban school 20 minutes from my home. My first job there was managing the Young Parents Program. This was a program for high school girls who were pregnant or had already had a child.
