My style of teaching really depends on the student and his/her learning style. Different students learn in different ways. I believe it is my responsibility to find which style works best for the student(s).
First teaching job was in a school for severely autistic children. After being there for a year I taught in a residential home for boys. This was challenging but probably one of my favorite jobs as a teacher. Because of the distance from home to work (about 1-1/2 hrs.), I applied at an urban school 20 minutes from my home. A Little Bit About Me...

When I teach I try to make the student feel more at ease with the subject. Yes this material is difficult but with persistence it not only do you succeed in academia but you end up discovering something amazing. I believe that being a coach, and mentor is the best way to teach children. I think that "hands on" training, or "on the job" training is the best way to learn. This is mostly true throughout our entire lives. Providing guidance, and answering questions rather than doing the work for them.
