For four years I taught in private schools, where I gave instruction at the middle and high school levels in English, French, Hebrew, computer programming, and office applications (spreadsheets, etc). After twenty-five years in book and magazine publishing, I decided to do something that mattered, so I went back to school, got a master's degree, and began teaching. I've been teaching college English for the last ten years, as well as writing poetry -- some of which gets published. I also tutor students in how to write their college application essays.
