A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with kids. I believe that the kids are our future and if we adults don't help them grow up to be leaders and make better choices in their lives we will not have any sense of direction.
I have earned two bachelor degrees which has given me the chance to motivate other youths and kids to seek the world and don't let it end with High school. There is more to life. Granting that Education is the key to success and without education there will be no sense of direction.

Much of my teaching style I learned while at Apple Computer in one on one computer teaching sessions. I tend to be a very enthusiastic and encouraging anyway, but Apple taught me an additional patience and a lead-learning-out teaching style that promotes self-discovery and avoids simply giving answers. Though it is geared towards adults, I have since found that adapting the patent and deliberate pace of LLO teaching to the learning level of younger children is effective and fun for both myself and the student. I have graduated Radio Engineering University and have received Bachelor in “Machinery and Technology” as well as Engineering degree –“Standardization and certification”, both are with HONORS. I am also trained in International Standards ISO 9000 series and connected quality assurance techniques. Recently I have been working as Process Engineer for the Manufacture of printed circuit boards. Mathematics, statistics, metrology and everything connected with logic were my favorite subjects. My passion is to teach and work with students of all levels and ages. Being and ASL teacher I must be dynamic and engaging as the instructor. I believe that once a student can enjoy the process of learning they can begin to internalize the good study habits required for academic success. I use a constructivist teaching method and often use Socratic teaching as a means to have students thinking independently about their work.
