My degree in Psychology has a strong basis in Behavior Analysis. This is what I will be getting my Master’s degree in starting in the Fall. My teaching style mainly focuses on positive reinforcement. I use positive reinforcement in order to increase a behavior of choice. The behaviors we want to increase can range from working more math problems, reading more, increase doing home work, increase studying, etc. An instructional method will be used as well in order increase their knowledge of the subject and then positive reinforcement will increase their confidence and motivation which is necessary for success. I have spent many years as a graduate student and post-doctoral fellow teaching incoming students the chemistry and molecular methods involved in working in the laboratory. I have also spent some time tutoring students in chemistry here in Mobile AL. I am currently working as adjunct faculty at both Faulkner State and ITT Technical.
