Chemistry is one of my top subjects! I am currently a Chemistry Major at the University of South Alabama. I have finished all but one chemistry course for my major requirement and am very proficient in the subject. I am going into my Senior year and plan to attend medical school after I graduate in the Spring of 2013.

I am very understanding and patient when I tutor because I know how frustrating it can be to not get a certain topic. I sometimes need a different approach to understand material myself so I will ensure that I take various approaches to the same problems until I am sure you or your child is proficient in the course material. I believe in working multiple examples because it is important to not only hear the correct information but to see it as well.

Chemistry is one of my top subjects! This is a difficult subject for many students, especially if they are not strong in math. I have always enjoyed helping people to understand these beginning concepts in a way that they can remember them and use them as they progress to other classes! M.S. in Chemistry plus 3 years Junior College teaching experience and 15 years of tutoring experience.

I obtained my Master's Degree with the intent to teach. I did teach for 3 years at a small Junior College, then moved into industry. However, even while I was working in industry, I tutored several students over the years. Several of my previous students have gone on to Pharmacy School, three have acquired their PharmD degrees. I am also an honor student in my school. Currently I am involved in a research on "sequence specific oxidative modifications in the mitochondrial genome during hypoxia" in the pharmacology department of the College of Medicine in my school. I am currently researching on a professor to do my senior thesis with. Senoir thesis is a mandatory research any honor student have to do to graduate with honors. For now, I am thinking of doing my research in mathematics or business.

I believe in teaching concepts and helping students fully understand ideals rather than students just memorizing facts. This way no matter what the professor asks they will know how to answer questions and ace exams. If they just memorize things, they can get confused and get answers distorted.
